Just too difficult to kept a young kid interested. I don't recommend this one for young kids, unlike previous Spyro games. If you like a heavy, constant challenge, with no just for fun areas, then this game is for you. Even getting through the training sequences is a feat leaving one tired and drained. Seems each section and each level gets more and more hard to complete, game starts off difficult. A Wii U version was released exclusively for Japan in July 2013. Most games have level up difficulty and then give you areas where you can just enjoy playing around without heavy fighting or extreme effort to access the next part of the game. Elora is a Faun from Avalar who debuted in Spyro 2: Riptos Rage and also made a minor. Just no relief to the constant struggle to move forward in this game. I'm not a hard core video game player, but my son-in-law is and even he gets frustrated getting through areas. No easy sections to relax and enjoy just wondering around collecting stones or power ups. Always tense, in battle or trying to make it across unsafe ground (or no ground). I was expecting this to be much like the Spyro games for Playstation 2.
